Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations and ensure smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
- Oversee the night audit process to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Train and supervise front desk staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including phone systems, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest services.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Experience in hotel management or hospitality industry preferred.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is desirable.
- Ability to handle guest relations effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of hospitality management software is an advantage.
