For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM 2023 Employee Benefits Staff & ManagementThe Quality Assurance program for USD 475 includes an assigned Quality Control (QC) Manager who reports to the client and advises the Account Manager.
The role of the QC Manager is to work directly with the ABM management and USD 475 to design and implement internal quality regulations for services and employees in accordance with ABM standards and USD 475 requirements with intent to monitor and improve overall quality of service.
The QC Manager will utilize an internet-based inspection application called SITE, automated surveys, established ABM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any Federal or local regulations that may apply to help ensure continually improving service performance.
The hours for this role will be late afternoon/evening (after school hours) until night, Monday through Friday.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
Develop a weekly schedule to ensure all assigned locations are inspected and to submit the report of findings at the end of each shift.
Analyze and compare data looking for trends using SITE (an internet-based ABM website), along with Microsoft software as well.
Inspect buildings and properties for cleanliness per APPA standards, inspect facilities for maintenance standards and grounds as well, to ensure contract compliance.
Create work orders, follow up on work orders, and audit work orders for completion.
Report to ABM management of findings.
Monitor work being performed for safety compliance and write safety reports per observation.
Communicate with managers and the client effectively.
Audit work orders using Asset Essential WO system.
Review daily inspections from other inspectors and advise Account Manager.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationship with service partners.
Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.
Handle issues in the field for multiple locations and report an unbiased opinion on matters.
Act as point of contact and take the necessary steps and/or phone calls when a situation arises.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Account Manager.
Report any issues, concerns or important occurrences with customer or other stakeholders to the Account Manager.
Brief weekly and monthly reports to ABM Management team and USD 475.
Create monthly reports by accurately tracking data thru out the month.
Help develop action plans to assist in correcting deficiencies.
Tour and inspect locations with client.
Qualifications:
Be willing, able, and available to work evening hours.
Be flexible with work hours as management will in turn be flexible with employees' specific/individual circumstances.
Public speaking and report writing Written and Verbal communication skills Must have valid driver's license.
Experience with various trades tools, application, equipment, concepts, local and federal facility based regulations Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team Demonstrate customer service, and problem-solving skills using a rationality approach.
Must be able to pass additional background check for Fort Riley access.
PREVIOUS
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3yrs experience in custodial and the same in facility maintenance and a good working knowledge of landscaping/grounds keeping.
The ideal candidate is also forward thinking, looking for ways to improve the process.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Knowledge of Facility maintenance.
Ability to follow terms of contract.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in a team setting.
Technical proficiency must be able to use Windows operating system computers and generate reports.
Detail oriented and organized.
Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
Directly audit the work of other departments safety, completed work and areas of improvement.
Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Address complaints and follow up on concerns with the management team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel.
Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and not afraid of heights.
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial.
Regular use of the mobile smart phone and e-mail for communication is essential.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents.
90% travel, mostly car travel which requires the ability to sit in a car for extended periods of time.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
An Associate degree or higher in Business Administration/Management, with 3yrs of QA/QC experience in Custodial and/or Facility Maintenance, or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management with 1yr experience in Facility Maintenance and process.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
