He/she is the primary provider, in supervising and attending to the safety and daily needs of the youth, while maintaining a therapeutic environment.
Participates in the youth's daily planning routine.
Supervisors, coaches and mentors the youth.
Provides structure for the youth.
Serves as an adult role model and a source of feedback to the youth.
Supervised and monitors youth at all times.
Provides positive interaction with the youth.
Demonstrates respect and the ability to be open minded and nonjudgmental.
Assists in the overall cleanliness of the office.
Helps to ensure the educational needs of youth are met either through participation with on-line schooling or attendance at an educational institution.
Ensures youth are engaged in activities throughout the day including going out into the community.
Ensures youth are provided nutritious meals.
May assist with clerical duties as assigned.
Implements Saint Francis Community Services (SFCS), policies and follow directives as required.
Follows and adhere to all pertinent Saint Francis Community Services, (SFCS) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and all contractual terms.
Ensures youths' rights are protected.
Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
